The Faith Focus Podcast: Read The Bible For Yourself

Today's Podcast Bible verse is: 

2 Timothy 2:15 says, 

“Study to show thyself approved unto God, 

a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

We need to study the word of God for ourselves. We won't be able to fight Satan with the scripture, if we don't know what the scripture says.

We won't be established in our faith without knowing what The Bible says about things.

We have to be prayed up and studied up. 

When we come to a certain age, we can't live off of our parents' walk with God.

We can't just take their word for what's in the Bible. We must look at it for ourselves.

And don't be afraid to ask questions. I have been studying for years, but I still have questions.

If you don't have questions, you're done learning.

And we must keep learning. If we stop learning, I believe we'll stop growing.

And we'll be in a dangerous place... Because if a person stops growing, 

that means they are going to go backward in their faith.

I encourage all of you to study the word of God each and every day.
